Fabric inspection 4-point standard

Definition: The four point scoring system is a commonly used evaluation method for the appearance quality inspection of fabrics in the United States, mainly for knitted fabrics, but can also be used for the inspection of woven fabrics. This method does not discriminate against any defects on the surface of the fabric based on latitude or longitude, and judges based on the surface length of the defect, with a score of 1-4 points. Therefore, it is called the four point scoring method.

A、 Sampling plan (can be adjusted according to one's own actual situation):

Note 1: The evaluation of a single defect shall not exceed 4 points, and the cumulative score per code shall not exceed 4 points

Note 2: If a continuous defect exceeds 9 inches, a score of 4 will be given, and for each full width defect, a score of 4 will be given

Note 3: If there are multiple consecutive defects within each yard, a score of 4 will be given. If there are obvious and serious defects, regardless of size, a score of 4 will be given

B、 Rating:

a-grade fabric (acceptable): The deduction points for full fabric (100 square yards) shall not exceed 20 points

b-class fabric (not available): The deduction points for full fabric (100 square yards) exceed 40 points

C、 Sampling ratio of noodles/lining materials:

a. The quantity of incoming materials is less than or equal to 1000 yards==All materials are randomly inspected (i.e. 100% inspection)

b. If the quantity of incoming materials exceeds 1000 yards==10% sampling inspection, but the sampling quantity cannot be less than 1000 yards

D、 4-point deduction standard

a. Each code can deduct up to 4 points

b. If the defect of the fabric is less than or equal to 3 inches, 1 point will be deducted

c. If the fabric defect is between 3 "and 6", 2 points will be deducted

d. If the defect of the fabric is between 6 "and 9", 3 points will be deducted

e. If the defect of the fabric is greater than or equal to 9 inches, 4 points will be deducted

f.  If the fabric has holes, deduct 4 points (Regardless of diameter)

g. Fabric with more than 4 points deducted will not be accepted If there are three or more consecutive defects on the width surface/ Draw yarn or have some defects appear every once in a while/ Colored yarn This type of fabric is also not accepted

F、 Final confirmation result of fabric

a. Shading color: cannot be used for full horsepower over 5 yards

b. Uneven staining: If the total number of yards exceeds 5%, it cannot be used (pressure test results should be arranged immediately)

c. Weight: Exceeding the deviation of the total weight of the whole horse (± 5%) is not acceptable

d. Cloth cover: cannot be narrower than 1 "or more

e. Edge color: cannot exceed 1/2 "or more

f. If the deduction does not exceed 28 points per 100 yards on average, it is acceptable
